Those were the days my friend

My husband and I decided to take LRT the other day. Our destination was a nearby mall where we can buy fresh items. It was late in the afternoon and as expected, the train was a little bit packed. As soon as it stopped, instead of letting the passengers alight, the passengers waiting outside began to rush in as though there was no tomorrow. They immediately slumped their huge rears flat on the benches. They have seem to have forgotten to let the passengers in the train get off first or at least be considerate to old people, handicapped and even pregnant women. If there is any strain left of chevalier attitude, it certainly could be present to only a handful of individuals. Those were the days my friend.

Some quotable quotes:

A wise man need not be told twice.

An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.
